Each card has a circle number, which can be any number from 1 to 20. Then, there is a modifier number next to it. The modifier number is dependent on the card type and can't be chosen. Lastly, a card may have or not have a bringer effect. Possible options are none, "windbringer", "glowbringer" or "giftbringer".
treasure detector
When played: Show a card from your hand or pick your played card. Place a "treasure" in front of you or behind you, with the distance being the distance between the chosen card's circle number and the circle die's number. You can pick it up if you stand on it to get a treasure point. Only you can pick up that treasure.
sunken treasure detector
When played: You may place a card from your hand face down onto the table. It still counts as your hand card. Create a "buried treasure" with unknown location, linked to that card. You may put the face down card of your "buried treasure" back into your hand and reveal it anytimes to turn it into a treasure with its location visible to everyone. You can pick it up if you stand on it to get a treasure point. Only you can pick up that treasure.
wandering giftgiver
When played: The player with highest card gets a treasure point. Modifier number -2.
big hungry fish
When played: If there is no active "sea monster" countdown, the player with the highest card gets 4 damage. Then, the "sea monster" countdown is set to 4. (If this card is played multiple times a turn, its effect triggers only once.) Modifier number +4.
big wave
When played: If there is no active "big wave" countdown, the player with the highest card must discard 3 cards. If the player's hand has less then 3 cards, they discard all cards instead. Then, the "big wave" countdown is set to 4. (If this card is played multiple times a turn, its effect triggers only once.) Modifier number +3.
useful potion brewer
When played: Get 1 "useful potion" token bound to you. Everytime you play a card, you may pay x to the power of 2 "useful potion" tokens to increase or decrease your played card's number by x for this turn. (x is a positive number.)
dark potion brewer
You may show this card when playing a card to trigger its ability. You may also trigger the ability when you play this card. If you trigger the ability, you may lose x life to increase or decrease your played card's number by x. (x is a positive number.)
recycling specialist
When played: You may discard up to as many cards as you have. After discarding, you get to draw a card for each card you discarded this way this turn.
repair mechanic
When played: Discard 3 cards. You gain 2 life.
artist of creative destruction
When played: Lose 3 life. Draw 3 cards.
barricader
When played: Discard 2 cards. Get a "barricade" token bound to you. You can't have more then 5 "barricade" tokens. You may pay 1 "barricade" token to make a card which is entering you unable to attack you for this turn.
thief
When playing this card, you may have its number and ability become the number and ability of a card at the top of any discard pile. This lasts only for the turn in which you play this card.
cheering pirates
If you have 3 "cheering pirates" in your hand, you may reveal them anytime a player plays one of your entering cards. If this happens, you may draw a card.

When playing this card, you may reveal your entire hand. If you do, draw 2 cards.
sleeping kraken
When played: Put a "sleeping kraken" token onto the spot your ship is currently on (it doesn't move with your ship). It has a countdown of 3. When the countdown reaches 0, every player with a distance of 2 fields or less to that "sleeping kraken" token gets 4 damage. Then, the "sleeping kraken" gets removed
even/odd banisher
When played: If an "even/odd banisher" was already played this turn, all cards except the first "even/odd banisher" played have no effect. If a player plays a card after the "even/odd banisher" was played and it has the same even/odd-ness as the "even/odd banisher", that player loses 2 life.
total cancellation mage
When playing this card, if there is no active "cancellation" countdown bound to you, all cards played this turn have no effect, except for those with "cancellation" in their name. This also applies to the cards played before you, because the cards take effect after each player played their card. Then, set your own "cancellation" countdown to 4.
even/odd cancellation mage
When playing this card, if there is no active "cancellation" countdown bound to you, all cards played this turn that have the same even/odd-ness as this card have no effect, except for those with "cancellation" in their name. This also applies to the cards played before you, because the cards take effect after each player played their card. Then, set your own "cancellation" countdown to 4.
portalmage of returning
When played: You may return your ship to square 1 of the board.
summoner of a ghostly echo
The turn after this card was played, a NPC enters the game at the same square as you and plays a card called "echo", which has no inherent effects but has the same bringer effect and the same number as this card. This NPC can get treasures from the dungeon, which just vanish when obtained. After that round, the NPC just vanishes.
reverser of the call
When played: This card has no effect if the "reversal" countdown is active when it is played. For this turn, effects that target the player with the highest card instead target the player with the lowest card. The dungeon also gives its treasure point to the player with the lowest card(instead of the highest) among the players at field 20. After this turn, set the "reversal" countdown to 5.
Obscurer
When played: If you discard this card during card playing phase(without playing it) and there is no active "obscurer" countdown, every player takes back their played card (they can choose an other card to play). Then, every player plays their card face down. Turn the cards face up after every player has played their card. Afterwards, set the "obscurer" countdown to 3.
